Our commitment.
We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA. We do this because we believe accessibility is a baseline of professional commerce work, not an enhancement. The same standard applies to the work we ship for clients and to the site you're reading.
Where we fall short, we say so on this page, and we tell you what we're doing about it.
How accessible this site is.
We assess iWeb.co.uk as substantially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, with the known issues listed in § 04 below.
- Keyboard-only navigation works throughout, every interactive control is reachable and operable.
- Heading structure is meaningful and ordered.
- Colour contrast meets AA on all body text and AA on large display text.
- Motion-sensitive animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
- Content reflows to a single column at 320px without loss of information.
What we do during build.
Accessibility is an explicit gate in our delivery process, not an audit at the end. The same applies to client work.
- Designs are reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA before any code is written.
- Engineers run axe-core in CI; pull requests are blocked on "serious" or "critical" violations.
- Manual keyboard and screen-reader walkthroughs precede each release, NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS / iOS.
- An external audit is commissioned annually; the most recent report is available on request.
Known issues.
We're aware of the following non-compliances. Each has an owner and a target review.
| Issue | WCAG | Status | Target |
|---|---|---|---|
| A handful of older case-study video embeds lack captions. | 1.2.2 AA | In progress | Q3 2026 |
| Two legacy third-party form embeds may surface inconsistent focus styles. | 2.4.7 AA | Replace or remove | Q2 2026 |
| One data-table on /work has no programmatic row header. | 1.3.1 A | Open | Next refresh |
