Data flows iWeb integrates
How this trade ERP fits branch, depot and account operations.
Questions we get asked.
Which ecommerce platforms can Intact iQ connect to?
Intact iQ can connect to Adobe Commerce, Magento Open Source and other commerce platforms where the connector and architecture support contracted pricing, branch stock and account ordering. Most iWeb Intact iQ work to date sits on Adobe Commerce and Magento. The right approach depends on pricing scope, branch fulfilment, account credit and how integration errors will be monitored.
Can Intact iQ support customer-specific pricing online?
Yes. Contracted pricing and discount rules held in Intact iQ are surfaced live to account customers. Prices are cached at storefront read time so the ERP is not called on every page view.
Can Intact iQ support branch stock for trade ordering?
Yes. Branch and depot stock from Intact iQ is exposed live to the storefront, with fulfilment rules per branch and back-order behaviour honoured against the ERP.
How is order, invoice and statement data kept aligned?
Orders flow from storefront to Intact iQ asynchronously with monitored queues. Dispatch confirmations, invoices and credit notes flow back so account customers see the same numbers online as the finance team does in Intact.
Is iWeb an Intact partner?
iWeb is an ecommerce agency, not an Intact reseller. iWeb works alongside the client's Intact iQ team or partner on the integration boundary.
What Intact iQ data flows are usually in scope?
Customer-specific pricing, branch and depot stock, account ordering and credit, orders, dispatch confirmations, invoices and credit notes. Exact scope depends on how the operation runs Intact iQ.
Real-time or scheduled sync with Intact iQ?
Mixed. Pricing and stock are read on demand and cached at storefront read time. Orders post asynchronously through monitored queues. Reference data refreshes on a defined schedule.
Can Intact iQ connect to a PIM?
Yes. Intact iQ typically owns pricing, stock and accounts; a PIM such as Akeneo owns enriched product attributes and channel rules. Both feed the commerce platform through their own connectors.
When is middleware needed between Intact iQ and ecommerce?
When more than one system sits either side of the boundary, when transformation, retries or routing need to be observable, or when the storefront should not own ERP semantics. Simpler estates can run on a direct connector.
Can iWeb take over an existing Intact iQ integration?
Yes. The team reads the existing integration, message contracts and incident history first, then writes down what to fix first and what is safe to defer. The first month on support is deliberately conservative on change.
How is hosting and release governed for Intact iQ-integrated commerce?
Release process tied to live trading, with a named senior owner on both sides of the boundary so incidents have a route to resolution rather than a finger-pointing exercise.
Can iWeb support multi-branch or multi-company Intact iQ estates?
Yes. Multi-branch and multi-company estates are wired against the actual Intact iQ ledger, with the integration contract written down per branch and per company.
